Building Children’s Brain Power

When children move, play, explore; wonder, imagine, create; talk, question, read;
they are actually building important connections inside their brains.
Experience literally sculpts the brain!

You are invited to participate in this informative, inspirational overview of how children’s brains grow and develop, ages three – ten. Learn about:

  • building the foundation: how the brain grows and makes connections
  • creating the framework for learning: how experiences change the brain
  • tools for learning: using the whole brain
  • timing: windows of opportunity for optimal growth
  • nutrition: the building blocks of a healthy brain

Explore how to foster greater intelligence by nurturing brain growth in four important areas:

  1. moving, sensing and exploring
  2. seeing, remembering and imagining
  3. listening, talking and understanding
  4. feeling and relating.

Experience this information in a concrete, easy to understand manner through fun, interactive strategies designed to engage the brain.  Learn ways to keep your own brain healthy – it’s never too late to grow new connections!
